The Marina Community Nonprofit Summit

This networking opportunity, co-sponsored by The Marina Foundation and the Friends of the Marina Library, will be held on Wednesday, January 29th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Marina Library Community Room.

All Marina non-profit organizations and those non-profits who work with the Marina community are encouraged to send a representative to this free community event. Please R.S.V.P. to info@themarinafoundation.org if you wish to attend.

This is your opportunity to share what you and your organizations do and to hear from other local non-profits. Our goal is to help find synergies between organizations to better serve our Marina community. There will be an information table available for limited organization literature to be shared. Light refreshments will also be available.

The Marina Community Non-Profit Summit was created to provide a venue for local non-profits to get together to review and discuss programs and projects that are currently in place, and to seek input on the types of programs and activities the community would like to see implemented now and into the future. Please R.S.V.P. to info@themarinafoundation.org to attend.

Highlights & Impact

  • The summit is a chance for nonprofits to see how they can partner or otherwise help each other.
  • Each nonprofit representative is allotted two to three minutes to talk about their activities, goals, and objectives.
  • Sharing information prevents nonprofits from duplicating efforts and enables them to focus on areas that are truly unaddressed.
