The Marina Community Nonprofit Summit will be held on Wednesday, January 29th, 2025, in the Marina Library Community Room. This event is hosted by The Marina Foundation and the Friends of the Marina Library. It was created so that local nonprofits could discuss their current programs and projects as well as seek input on what types of programs and activities the community would like to see in the future. This networking opportunity is open to all Marina nonprofit organizations and those who work with the Marina community. They are encouraged to send a representative to this free community event.
Highlights & Impact
- The summit is a chance for nonprofits to see how they can partner or otherwise help each other.
- Each nonprofit representative is allotted two to three minutes to talk about their activities, goals, and objectives.
- Sharing information prevents nonprofits from duplicating efforts and enables them to focus on areas that are truly unaddressed.
