The Marina Foundation is proud to continue this long running community awards program given annually to two outstanding Marina citizens. Nominations are for individuals who have served the Marina community with distinction during the calendar year 2023 and over a period of years. Two awards – Man of the Year and Woman of the Year will be presented on Saturday night, September 7th at the SpringHill Suites in Marina.
Erica Graham will be presented as Woman of the Year; Joey Silva will be presented as Man of the Year. The nomination committee elected to present Mike Mast with the Lifetime of Service Award. Please plan to join us as we honor Erica, Joey and Mike at this special community event. All proceeds from this event benefit programs in Marina.

The Marina Foundation has been presenting the annual Marina Man and Woman of the Year awards program since taking over from the Marina Chamber of Commerce and is proud to continue this long-running community awards program, which recognizes two outstanding Marina citizens who have served the Marina community with distinction during the calendar year and over a period of years.
Highlights & Impact
- In 2024 the awards ceremony will be held on Saturday, September 7th at the Spring Hill Suites at the Dunes in Marina.
- Members of the public make the nominations; past recipients review the nominations and decide who should win.
- The previous year’s recipients present the awards to the current year’s recipients.
- The Marina Man and Woman of the Year awards ceremony is the only general fundraiser held by The Marina Foundation, and it usually includes a silent auction.
